FLORA & FORM

Designers at alphabet studio were given the opportunity to creatively and independently direct and craft alphabet posters. While the characters were to be complimentary as a collection, the largely open ended brief was for a series of stand alone letter posters that heroed typographic forms.
The Flora collection used plants and flowers found within my local community in Sydney’s inner west. The photographed botanical elements and the customised letterforms, were designed to engage and intwine. The structure, curve, fluidity and flourish of elements is celebrated with each letter an interplay of flora and form.
